Cluster of Five Churches

Camelford

Camelford church may be small and a comparative youngster compared to the other churches in the cluster but it really is a hive of activity.

Dedicated in 1938, the church of St.Thomas of Cantebury is conveniently situated next to the car park, ideal for services and for the many groups which make use of the versatile building.  A perfect example is the St. Thomas' 4C's Club -Company, Cake, Coffee and Chat - which also hosts the Foodbank every Tuesday.  A monthly coffee morning raises money for different charities.

The church has close links with the Methodist Church and is often at the centre of the town's celebrations and important events, especially the annual Remembrance Day commemorations.

Over the years, the Camelford church has been home to a toddler group and a drama group and has hosted concerts, all part of Camelford church's work to be a major part of the community
