St Teath Church

The churchyard of St. Teath Church is a photographer's dream in the months of February and March when there is a stunning carpet of purple crocuses intermixed with daffodils and bluebells - more flowers appearing every year.

The church, dedicated to St. Tetha, is in the heart of the village; in fact whichever way you approach the village you will see this beautiful 15th century building.  It may be 600 years old (parts are Norman) but with a 21st century outlook, determined to be active in the community.  The Flower Festival attracts people from all over the South West who come again for the Arts Festival, a comparatively new but very successful addition to St. Teath Church's calendar.

Messy Church meets monthly and the school is visited fortnightly by the "Open the Book" group.

Close links are maintained with the village primary school and pre-school and Christmas services are a highlight of the year with a very popular crib service, carol service and Christingle
